Illustrate Your Memories

Commission an original work of art illustrating an important memory of yours. It can be an animal or animals, humans included, or a place you love, even a fictional illustration of an idea that inspires you. We will work together from your ideas and memories and photographs to create the perfect work of original art to fill that blank spot on your wall.

Let’s create something colorful and meaningful together.

Animanity in Art

It can truly be anything, in any medium, generally on canvas or paper, but I have been known to paint on unconventional items and in unconventional places, like the garden, or the cabinets of a kitchen, or a giant rock. The sky is the limit. Any idea that inspires you, I am happy to help you make it a reality for your home or someplace that you love.

My specialty and passion is painting animals and nature. Humans are also animals, in case you didn’t know. From your ideas, memories, and photographs, we will create the perfect work of original art for you.

Hi, I’m Amanda

Let me share my life’s work of studying animal husbandry and behavior with you. Together, we can imagine, make, and enjoy colorful and moving works of art that will bring joy, inspiration, and a new sense of belonging into our daily lives.

Art has the power to heal! It can make us stronger and healthier, both in the making and in the viewing. That is why, when things go wrong, people turn to the arts. Every time. What better way to explore the health of our earth than through the healing power of art?

Creating Animanity in Art is my way of sharing my animal friends and our stories with you. This is a place for us to explore the concepts of animal sentience and the human/animal experience together. Let’s use the healing practices of art to help us understand these concepts and ourselves better, and perhaps we can make healthier choices for all animals on earth.
