The Elephant's Child

$300.00

This painting was inspired by watching Amali, one of the elephant orphans at Sheldrick Wildlife Trust that I adopted, playing in the water. I just loved how she would fling her trunk and ears all over while she sprayed herself, endearingly uncoordinated and gangly like youngsters often are. A portion of the proceeds from every painting I sell goes to adopting orphaned elephants in Africa and giving them a fighting chance to survive. If you have not already done so, please visit The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and meet the orphans and their caregivers.

The painting is a 12” x 14” watercolor and ink illustration on paper.
