This original 26” x 28” oil painting was inspired by Amanda’s memories of several very important river otter friends in her life, including a wild family she befriended, and a captive one named Amy she helped to hand raise for the NC Zoo. But, during the process, she became enamored with their keystone status in kelp bed habitats.
